I visited a friend at the bocce court of an Italian club in Berlin. The all men's club has an indoor/outdoor court with six lanes. The men have a great time and it can get pretty rowdy. The games and tournaments go on throughout the year, but mostly in the Spring and Summer.
Winter gives me time to do some interesting still lifes. This is a still life of a pot of white begonias, silver container, and Chinese bowl.
I love peach roses, so this was a fun painting to do. The Chinese porcelan container contrasts with the warm flowers and background..
A newly discovered park nearby where I live has ponds with geese and swans, and a great walking path through wooded areas.The Autumn leaves were spectacular but soon coming to an end.
My art is on exhibit at the Edward Smith Library through the month of February.
